It had a Japanese Tea Garden, a shooting gallery, barber shop, billiard hall, six bowling alleys, and an 18,000 square foot white maple dance floor for 750 people. The dates refer to Evans' birth and death dates.The stone arch across the top of the marker came from the fireplace of Evans' log cabin, where George Washington was said to have conducted business concerning lands. The marker was located on the site of the former St. Francis High School, off Patteson Drive in Morgantown, W. Va.
