'A view of Hick House which was built in 1892 in the ravine just below Woodburn Hall on Falling Run. The Hick House was used for storage of bodies [corpses] for study by medical students.'

Carrie Louise Dent, WVU Class of 1899, was one of the first 20 woment to graduate from the University and the daughter of Marmaduke Dent, Class of 1870, WVU's first graduate. She married Professor Robert Armstrong, Class of 1886, in 1901.
