'Russell L. Long, Morgantown, W. Va. on high stilts, walks 3 to 4 hour periods on them.  This picture taken on High and corner of Pleasant Street - My construction of my stilts and the foot pivot is my own invention and makes it possible for me to move with comparative ease being a mechanical tall-man the hours I perform on them.  My leg stilts allow me to spread and stoop to go through doors from the sidewalks stilting indoors, and come out again on the sidewalk.  Many business places I have done stilting inside.'
