Albert Thompson of Philadelphia bought the J.L. Rumbarger Lumber Company of Tucker County in the late nineteenth century. He later built his business, the Thompson Lumber Company, which later became the Blackwater Boom and Lumber Company.A caption on the back of the image reads: "Chas Blake [Charles], Phila. office, A.
