Camden Park was first established in 1902 as a picnic spot by the Camden Interstate Railway Company, named after former West Virginia Senator Johnson N. Camden. In 1903 a carousel was added to the park. Overtime more amusement park rides were added to the park. It is West Virginia's only amusement park. Published for H.G. Hoffman. McGregor, Jas. H. Harris, Wm. A. Wanless, J.T. Nourse, and H.B. McCollum. Up to 1871, the congregation worshiped in the log church in Egypt. Jan. 5, 1970 the following Building Committee was elected, M.L. Earnest, Rev. Nourse, Richard Wanless, Sr., D. McGregor, H.B. McCollum, and H.A. Merrick. The new church was dedicated in 1871 by Rev.
