Butts, who lost his life in sinking of Titanic; fifth, Mr. Sigwart; sixth George C. Baker; seventh, H.C. Batton; eight and ninth, unidentified; 10th Harry Carspecken; and others, M. L. Brown, William Williams, E. Donley, Benjamin Rosenbloom, Frank B. Trotter and Dr. A.M. Buckhannon.  The men in uniform were members of the Governor's Staff.'

Grounds of I.C. White property (where White Hall now stands) and WVU Library which was then in the Old Administration Building (now Stewart Hall).  On the Opposite side of the street is the old Lutheran Church which was torn down. A Lutheran student chapel now stands in its stead.
