'View of deserted U. B. Church at Hereford, West Virginia.  Twenty one such churches exists in Jackson County.  with the consolidation of schools and the improvement of roads, many such churches were deserted, the interests of the people drifting to larger centers.  Under community center activities why not go to one of these communities and rebuild the church, the center and redeveloped interest in the community as was done at Frozen camp?'
'Group taking or ready to take the typhoid serum at Frozen Camp.  100% of people of the community were inoculated.  100% of water supply of community is now safe.'

The church was organized in 1851. The church was destroyed in a fire in 1900.  The new church was dedicated in 1902.
