Sam Huff, from Edna Gas near Farmington in Marion County, West Virginia, was an outstanding lineman for the Mountaineers, earning All-American honors in 1955. Huff subsequently played in the NFL and has been inducted into both the College Football Hall of Fame and the NFL Hall of Fame.
