Lewis before Congressional Committees on Centralia Mine Explosion, 1947" with the description 'McIntyre, Pa. - December 31st, 1940.' However, the McIntyre Kent #2 Mine disaster did not occur until June 30th, 1941. The location and date of the photograph are thus unclear.
