'Park View Inn. New Berkeley Springs Hotel is situated facing the State Park at Berkeley Springs, W. Va. and is located in the heart of this famous health resort, where Washington visited in 1748. Fairfax gave the famous springs to the public. Berkeley Springs was established as a town in 1776. Va. treated her sick soldiers here. Gen. Washington, Gen. Buchanan, Gen Gates and Charles Carroll bought lots here. The town of Bath 'Berkeley Springs' is full of historical places.'
