During the 1940's through the 1970's, Bill James directed the group. E.W. "Bill" James wrote "My Home Among the Hills" for the West Virginia Centennial among other musical compositions. The madrigal group performs some recent music, but primarily sings music dating from the English Renaissance while wearing period clothing.
