- Caption reads: "Mr. Barnett was one of the earliest black students to graduate from Dennison University in Granville, OH (1892) and was the second principal of Douglass High School (1897–1900). Mrs. Barnett lived to be 109 and moved for a while to Columbus, Ohio, to work and send them her two sons to college.
